Site-specific Induction Videos
Contractors watch HD safety videos covering site-specific hazards, emergency procedures, and PPE requirements. Content is managed centrally and pushed to kiosks on each nightly sync.
Trade Licence & Certification Upload
Contractors photograph or scan their trade licences, CSCS cards, medical certificates, and insurance documents. Files are stored encrypted on-device and synced to the contractor portal.
Permit-to-Work (PTW) Issuance
On passing the assessment, the system checks the work order database and issues a time-limited PTW badge. The permit is digitally signed, QR-coded, and printed in under 5 seconds.
Biometric / QR Gate Access
The gate controller integrates via Wiegand or Modbus. On PTW issuance, the kiosk registers the biometric (fingerprint / face) at the local reader — the site perimeter is now unlocked for the permit window.
Licence & Medical Expiry Alerts
The system checks every credential against its expiry date at each check-in. Expired workers are blocked and the site manager receives an automated alert. No manual certificate tracking required.
Site Evacuation Roster
In an emergency, the Windows Service exports a real-time muster list of all workers currently on site — with PTW number, contractor company, and assembly point — printable in under 10 seconds.

Everything runs as a WPF .exe + Windows Service on a ruggedised industrial PC. No internet required at the gate. Central portal syncs data and content on a configurable schedule.
Watch Induction & Test
The contractor watches the site induction video(s), completes the assessment (configurable pass mark), and receives a digital score certificate. Total time: 5–15 minutes depending on site.
Upload Docs & Verify
Trade licence, CSCS card, medical cert, and insurance are scanned. The document validation engine checks issuer, format, and expiry. The site manager is alerted for any that require manual approval.
Receive PTW & Gate Opens
On full clearance, the permit-to-work badge prints. The biometric is registered at the gate reader. The Wiegand/Modbus relay opens the barrier for the permit's valid time window.
