Gate induction for every worker

Before a badge opens the turnstile, the worker watches the site induction in a chosen language, answers a randomised assessment drawn from the question bank and acknowledges the PPE required for their work area. The gate cannot wait for the WAN

Plants sit at the end of long fibre runs or on cellular links, and shift change is the moment the connection is most likely to be saturated. The induction video, the question bank and the worker register are held on the kiosk, the turnstile decision is made locally, and the records synchronise to the central system once the link is back. Nobody stands at a closed gate because a server in another city is unreachable, and nobody gets in untrained because the server was unreachable either.

Regulation, language and the audit trail

The Factories Act and the state factory rules oblige an occupier in India to train workers on the hazards of their work; an ISO 45001 management system expects that training to be recorded and current; and a permit-to-work regime expects to know who authorised what and when.
