Multilingual Induction Videos
Site-specific safety videos play in the worker's detected or selected language using Windows Media Foundation. Content is managed centrally and pushed to kiosks overnight.
Interactive Assessment Engine
Adaptive quiz engine renders multiple-choice and true/false questions from the local question bank. Pass threshold and retry limits are configurable per site and role.
Digital Certificate & QR Issuance
Passing workers receive a time-stamped, digitally signed PDF certificate printed on the badge printer. A QR code on the badge lets security scan and verify validity at any gate.
Access Gate Relay Integration
On pass, the Windows Service fires a signal to the gate controller relay (COM / Modbus / Wiegand) — the gate opens. On fail, it stays closed and the worker is directed to the safety office.
PPE Acknowledgement & Sign-off
Workers digitally acknowledge the PPE checklist required for their work area. Acknowledgements are stored with an e-signature and tied to the certificate record.
Refresher Reminder & Expiry Alerts
The system tracks every certificate expiry date. Workers whose cert has lapsed are blocked at the kiosk and directed to re-induct. Site managers receive daily expiry-alert reports.

The entire induction flow is a WPF full-screen application running as a Windows Service. No browser, no internet, no single point of failure at the gate.
Select Language & Watch
The worker selects their language (or face-recognition auto-selects it), watches the mandatory induction video(s) at full screen, and confirms understanding per module.
Take Assessment & Certify
The adaptive quiz presents randomised questions from the question bank. On pass, the certificate is generated, signed with the site's private key, and printed in under 5 seconds.
Gate Opens
The Windows Service fires the relay signal. Security at the gate scans the printed QR to verify certificate validity on their handheld device — even without network.
